Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania gives the public access to many court records, but court files are not handled by a single Bucks County counter. The Prothonotary handles civil and family records. The Clerk of Courts handles criminal records, juvenile delinquency/dependency records subject to access limits, fines, costs, and restitution. The Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court handles estates, guardianships, adoptions, Orphans' Court matters, and marriage licenses. The Court of Common Pleas sits at the Bucks County Justice Center in Doylestown, while Magisterial District Courts handle traffic, landlord-tenant, small claims, summary, and preliminary criminal matters. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for these offices into one place.

- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
